Artist's Comments

This is the second time I've painted my friend, artist, Juanita Smith's, chicken coop window, during a plein air outing. This round we took things farther, brought along a few props and set up an outdoor holiday flavored still life. I painted the window in acrylics this time, instead of with the watercolors I used on the last version. I love the beat-up, weather damaged character of that window.
