Artist's Comments
Received the Curator's Award at the 2015 Nudes in November show at the Sorensen Gallery and 2nd Place in the 2015 Figure Revealed Show at the Stellar Gallery. When a model is kind enough to pose for us nude, I try to get the most out of their poses. This is an abstracted version of the same model setup used for my representational painting, "Turquoise Necklace." I enjoy comparing the two paintings side by side.
