Artist's Comments
Another live model session with Brian King, this time as a Sheriff. I believe it was the first time I painted him. I remember it took me a few tries, before I got his bandana the way I wanted it. These smaller paintings can actually be more difficult and take more time than larger canvases. Every brush-stroke you add makes a huge different to the overall painting and often it a takes a few tries before you get a mark just right.
