Artist's Comments
Begun on location, as a demonstration, during one of my plein air workshops in Yosemite, it was completed from reference photos, back in my studio, as a color sketch for a possible larger painting. It's great location. Look one way and you get this image of Half Dome, face the other direction and you have Stoneman Bridge on the Merced River.
