Artist's Comments
1st Place in the 42nd Annual Tri-County Show. The model for this portrait was Abraham Lincoln impersonator, Wayne L. Scott. Wayne is quite a Lincoln historian and travels around the country portraying our 16th president at schools and historical events. He often poses for us as the president, but this time chose to be a US Marshal instead. I really enjoyed painting his leather vest and the satin stripes on his shirt in this sitting.
